The disclosure file never closed.
We cover the hearings, the leaks, the physics, the lore, and the stories you cannot unhear, without the breathless tabloid energy and without the smug dismissal. Sources or it didn't happen.

All disclosure →The cases that hold up best
Every case file scored on the same four axes, witnesses, instrumentation, official record, and how well it survives scrutiny. These six sit at the top.
Night of the UFOs, 1986
21 radar plots, five fighters scrambled, and a sitting air minister confirming it four days later.
Rendlesham Forest, 1980
A signed deputy base-commander memo and radar returns, evidence outside any one memory.
Tehran F-4 Intercept, 1976
Two jets lost instruments on approach; a favorable DIA report entered the record.
USS Nimitz Tic Tac, 2004
DoD-released sensor video, radar crews, and sworn testimony, the radar data itself stays unreleased.
Shag Harbour USO, 1967
A multi-agency government search response, on the record, the night it happened.
Trindade Island, 1958
A photo sequence shot in front of a Brazilian Navy ship's company.

Syrian UAP 'Instant Acceleration', PURSUE Release 02
MQ-9 infrared track of an object AARO says shows near-instantaneous acceleration, the most-shared clip of the May 22 drop.
F-16 Shoots Down UAP Over Lake Huron (12 Feb 2023)
Declassified targeting-pod video of the February 2023 Lake Huron engagement, the only public footage of a U.S. fighter destroying a UAP.
Four UAP in Formation Over Water, Iran (26 Aug 2022)
Ten seconds of sensor footage showing four objects in formation over water in the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
East Coast UAP, December 2019
Crosshair-locked sensor view of an unidentified object off the U.S. East Coast, December 2019.

All stories →Five known impossibilities, in plain physics.
Transmedium travel. Instantaneous acceleration. No visible propulsion. No sonic boom. Pre-positioning at the right moment. We translate the AATIP "five observables" out of acronym soup and back into Newton.

- Sudden / instantaneous acceleration
- Hypersonic velocities without signatures
- Low observability / cloaking

What people say they saw, drawn out
Reconstructions built from the descriptions in the record, the craft shapes on one side, the reported occupants on the other. Illustrations, not evidence.

The classics, the cult favorites, the hoaxes, and the skeptics, each rated on the same rubric and ranked out of 12.
The Demon-Haunted World
Carl Sagan · 1995
Skepticism is not the enemy of wonder but its bodyguard, and the same tools that protect us from con artists are the tools that let us find out what is actually true.
Well-DocumentedChildhood's End
Arthur C. Clarke · 1953
Benevolent non-human overseers end war, want, and cruelty overnight, then shepherd humanity toward a transcendence we cannot survive as individuals, and the shepherds wear, exactly, the shape of the Devil.
ContestedContact With Alien Civilizations
Michael A.G. Michaud · 2007
A former US diplomat sets aside whether aliens are here and asks the harder question: what would contact with a genuine extraterrestrial civilization actually mean for humanity, and are we ready to decide.
Well-DocumentedExtraordinary Encounters
Jerome Clark · 2000
A careful A to Z reference that catalogues the beings people say they have met, from contactee space brothers to fairy folk, documenting the claims and their sources without pretending the entities are real.
CredibleWhere the file meets the occult
DMT Entity Contact: The Most Repeatable Encounter Report in the Field
Thousands of people describe meeting the same kinds of beings, on schedule, under laboratory conditions. That is either the strongest contact data we have or the clearest proof that consistency is not corroboration.
Crop Circle Messages, Decoded: An A-Z of What the Famous Formations Are Supposed to Mean
Most crop circles are made by people with planks and rope, that part is settled. The interesting question is the other one: why do so many of them read like messages, and what have people decoded out of them? Here is a field guide to the most famous formations, the meanings attached to them, and an A-to-Z of the recurring motifs, every interpretation labeled as interpretation, not fact.
Jake Barber's Nine Craft Classes, and the 'Divine Feminine' He Felt Inside the Eightgon
Skywatcher's Jake Barber didn't just claim to summon UAPs, he sorted them into nine craft classes, from the drifting 'Jellyfish' to the eight-sided 'Eightgon' he says he ferried by helicopter. And during that retrieval he describes being 'possessed by the most beautiful spirit,' a loving feminine presence. That detail rhymes, uncomfortably closely, with the female entity Chris Bledsoe calls 'the Lady.' This is a sober look at both the taxonomy and the woman in the machine.
The "what if." Maybe.
Basilides, Exegetica, Book Thirteen
He wrote twenty-four books in Alexandria around the year 130. We have a page and a half, quoted by men who were refuting him. The most disturbing idea attributed to him is that ignorance is installed on purpose, as an act of mercy. This is the middle book, invented, arguing that case.
The Book of Hypsiphrone
A named woman, a revelation in her own voice, a man with a name meaning bright-eyed, and fire. That is everything the manuscript preserves of Hypsiphrone: a few sentences off the end of a ruined codex. Nothing survives to contradict us, so we wrote her whole book.
The Lost Leaves of Codex XIII
Codex XIII survives as eight leaves someone tore out and hid inside the cover of another book. They are numbered 35 to 50, which means thirty-four pages are simply gone. This is an invented reconstruction of what stood on them, and of a fourth descent the real text never got to make.
